I’m Jeff, and I like to play outside. This most often takes the form of excessive amounts of running in really delightful places. I was born and raised in Havertown, PA, where I found my love for running in middle school and high school cross country. I transitioned to trail/ultra running during college at St. Lawrence University in northern New York, where I studied conservation biology. After graduating in 2016, I spent several years working seasonal biology jobs across the western US. I lived in a very unglamorous van, worked long days, and ran a ton. In 2019, I moved to Missoula, Montana to be surrounded by great trails and great people. I have coached professionally since 2020 and run professionally for On Running since 2023. If I’m not running, you can find me working in running logs or chatting with my athletes, river surfing, fly fishing, skiing, gravel biking, or adding another new hobby to the list.
